As we close out September, we’re delighted to share a glimpse of what’s been happening across the estate.
Partridge season in full swing & pheasant season now underway
Partridge season is in full stride, with our beaters and pickers-up working together to deliver some truly memorable days of sport. From glorious sunshine to the odd wet spell, the partridges have flown beautifully throughout.
Enormous credit goes to our tireless keepering team, who continue to balance the demands of running shoot days with feeding, dogging-in, and seamlessly overseeing both the partridge season and the now fully underway pheasant season.
Field to Table
Our chefs have been hard at work curating delicious menus for lunches and elevenses, showcasing the very best of fresh, local produce—alongside game shot right here on the estate.
Our Land Rover bars are fully stocked with fizz, Bloody Marys, sloe gins and plenty more to warm you through the day. Alongside your favourite tipple, you’ll find a delicious selection of sustainable snacks, hearty soups, sausages, and of course, the team’s top pick – our mouth-watering partridge goujons.

While guests enjoy the days in the field, we’ve been busy analysing September’s returns data. This in-depth approach allows us to adapt and refine drives, ensuring the sport is always of the highest standard.
Looking Ahead
Our pheasants are fit, well-feathered, and ready. Gun stands, tracks, and elevenses sites are prepared to welcome our autumn guests for what promises to be another outstanding season.
